Full 3” stainless steel mandrel bent exhaust kit in the front section and then it Y’s off to a Dual 2 ½” mandrel bent stainless steel kit. The front converter assembly incorporates Solo’s 200 cell Ultra-High-Flow converter assembly with flex pipe and front 3” resonator for sound control. The converter assembly comes with O2 bung and extra thick front flange along with being sprayed to 6.2L of cleaning ability. This High Flow converter while overbuilt is technically for off road use only. Also it’s worth noting that Ford it seems is having some issues with the turbo especially in relation to predominately “Catless Downpipes” but in some cases “High Flow Converter” installs.
We understand that Ford is working on a fix and there is a lot of information on this on the 6G Forum. To date we have not had a problem with ours but we suggest that you check with your dealer before purchasing the High Flow Converter Assembly. The cat-back portion has another 3” Solo Performance Free-Flow MR300 resonator and then the system splits off into dual 2 ½” exhaust. The rear portion of this kit incorporates Solo’s uniquely designed 2 1/2” angled resonators. These 55 degree angled resonators deepen the sound and smooth out the trouble RPM ranges associated with the Mustang Ecoboost. All of our resonators are heavily packed with Stainless Steel Wool and Ceramic Fibre. The tips are a T304 polished stainless steel 4 ½” outlet with inner bevel for extra body. This kit produces a deep, rich performance car sound on the outside while being non-invasive on the outside.
